Find centre point with a ruler and lightly mark
on one side of the paper (this becomes the front). Turn paper over and mark the centre point on the edges of the
paper (this becomes the back).
|
| |
With the front facing upwards and the paper
positioned in a landscape position, fold the bottom of the paper
up until it meets the centre dot and make a very sharp crease,
unfold.
Repeat with the top and unfold.
Turn the paper over so the back is facing upwards.
|
| |
Fold the top left and right corners in towards
to the centre dot, but only make a crease from the top to the
fold line you made in step 3. Unfold and
repeat for the bottom corners, unfold.
|
| |
Mark with a pencil dot where the folds made in
Step 4 finish on the front of the paper. This
will be a guide for the next 2 steps. |
| |
Turn paper over so that the front is facing up.
Fold the left side in towards the centre until you reach the first
2 pencil dots. Make a sharp crease.
Unfold and repeat with the right side.
|
| |
Fold
top and bottom centre as in Step 3, but this time do not unfold. |
| |
Fold
the right side towards the centre making sure the corners flap out to form
wings. Flatten these and
crease along new edges sharply.
Do not unfold.
|
| |
Fold the wings in towards each other meeting at
the centre fold – crease sharply. Do
not unfold. |
| |
Fold a flap of paper back over the wings, about
half way.
|
| |
Repeat
Steps 8 to 10 with the left side.
|
| |
Pull flaps apart to open box.
|
| |
Final touch, cut 2 pieces of card board to
desired size and stick one on top of each flap for decoration –
also adds strength. |
