EMBOSSING
Use as a clear
pigment ink pad for embossing in any colour. Stamp
as for watermark, but emboss with your choice of embossing powder. |
| |
|
| |
WATERMARK IMAGES
Watermark images
- great for backgrounds, this is what this pad was designed to do.
Ink up a background stamp (can use for foreground images too) and then
stamp directly onto card or paper. DO NOT emboss or coat with
sealant of any kind (eg: gloss or matt varnish) - as the ink will become
invisible. After a few minutes you will notice that the stamped
image has become a few shades darker than the surrounding card/paper and
now stands out beautifully.
Please Note: on some card this image will fade over time and
become invisible! |

PEARLEX POPPING
Stamp as for watermark image, but instead of leaving to dry, brush over
the image with a micaceous pigment (PearlEx, Faerie Dust etc.) with a
small brush and then brush off excess with a larger fluffy brush.

CHALK POPPING
Stamp as for watermark image, but instead of leaving to dry, rub over
the image with chalks. Use a make-up applicator sponge, cotton
bud/ball or a soft tissue to apply the chalk over the stamped image -
depending on the look you are going for you can softly colour the
background at the same time! Produces fantastic looks -
here are a couple of cards done using the Chalk Popping technique... |

HINTS & TIPS
| |
Spray with a matte or gloss varnish to seal when using
Pearlex or chalks, as these may rub off. |
